These tongue and groove beadboards mostly have perfectly good tongues and grooves, despite being over 150 years old. Made by early California settlers from nearby redwoods, these formed some inside walls and the wraparound porch ceiling for the house of the friend of General Vallejo. Lengths vary from 6' to 18', and the paint color runs from bone white to a mocha​/​tan. Message us if you need a certain minimum length before ordering. Please note: these were painted—at least the first few times—before the invention of radio. The paint on these is likely to contain lead, which—as you may have read on many store windows—causes cancer in laboratory animals and people, and is generally not great to breathe or eat. We have not scraped or tried to remove this from the wood, because doing so could ruin it's aesthetic qualities for many people who know how to contain the lead hazard themselves and are happy to do it. If you don't know how to approach this, do some research and see if you can use this in your project safely before buying it.
