Connecting artisan designers with consumers, the Made From Reclaimed concept gives shoppers access to “use-it-for-life” products and gifts - an eco-conscious alternative. Co-founder of Pacific Reclaimed Lumber + Supply (PRLS), and the Reusable Lumber Company, Jim Steinmetz, debuts innovation in product design and shipping for a circular economy.

Beginning with makers, builders and designers in the Pacific Coast region, PacificReclaimed.com showcases artworks, home goods and decor, tools, toys, furniture and more that are Made From Reclaimed. By finding gifts here, shoppers know they are sourcing from local small businesses -> giving long-lasting, beautiful goods -> shipping using flat-pack design and recycled and green-sourced materials, down to the algae inkstamped logo!

For the first time, PRLS hosts an in-person Press & Demo Showcase at Ocean Plant in SF, on Saturday, November 8th, 2025.

In addition to Jim, meet several of our favorite designers including Danny Hess, whose reclaimed wood surfboards were recently included in SFMOMA’s “Games” exhibit (2025), Jay Nelson, Jade Ochoca of Stoked Sauna Share, Cyprus Gonzalez of White Owl Woodworks & Ben Turner of Wildernest Design.

The day will include an introduction and brief talks with Jim and the artisan-designers, demonstration of flat pack and assembly applied to reclaimed material products, and browsing goods available for sale, hosted by their makers.

Light refreshments will be served in addition to the cafe’s menu on offer.
